Webinar for Mathematics teachers of Abay School, Peterfield rural area, North Kazakhstan oblast.

On 3-4 February, 2021, T.Aubakirov, a subject coordinator  of the Centre for Educational Programmes, delivered a two-day webinar on Statistics and Probability theory for Mathematics teachers of Abay School, Peterfield rural area, North Kazakhstan oblast.

This webinar is the first in a series of webinars initiated by the Centre of Educational Programmes for Mathematics teachers of Abay school.

On Day 1, teachers revised the basics of probability theory and tested their knowledge by completing the tasks. On Day 2, they analyzed assignments designed to encourage students to add and multiply probabilities, calculate conditional probabilities and analyze independent events. Teachers’ feedback indicated the webinar had been efficient and relevant. The next series of webinars are scheduled in March-April, 2021.
