Biography

Zhanar Akizhanova has been working in the CEP since 1 February 2012, and in NIS AEO – since September, 2009. Over the years, she worked as an English teacher at PhM NIS (Astana), Deputy Director at NIS of Astana (IB); a senior manager supervising programmes for English at the Centre for Educational Programmes and Head of Analysis, Research and Project Management Department. She is one of the authors who developed the curriculum for English for Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.

She used to work as an English teacher at E.A.Buketov University of Karaganda and at the Daryn school for gifted children in Karaganda.

          Zhanar Akizhanova is awarded with the medal for the 10^th anniversary of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AEO, Letters of gratitude for her contribution to education on behalf of the Department of Education (Karaganda town), Yessil District Akimat of Astana city, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AEO and Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.
