2012 – senior manager of Linguistics department, Centre for Educational Programmes, NIS AEO.

2014 – senior manager of Department for Educational Policy and Programmes, NIS AEO.

2015 – Deputy Director of Pre-School and Secondary Education Department, Ministry of

Education and Science. Since 2016, Zhanabay Abuov has been a head of Linguistics department in the Centre for Educational Programmes, NIS AEO.

 

Linguistics department develops, implements and supervises subject programmes and course plans for Kazakh, Kazakh language and literature, Kazakh literature, Russian, Russian language and literature, Russian literature, English, Global perspectives and Project Work. It also provides methodological support for teachers implementing subject programmes in the Intellectual and mainstream schools of Kazakhstan. In addition, staff members of the Linguistics department regularly deliver trainings for Language teachers on various teaching issues.
