«Trilingual Education Policy»

In the frame of the implementation of the “Trilingual Education Policy”, Gulzhan Rysbekkyzy, a trainer at the branch of the Center for Educational Programmes of the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”, conducted seminars on the topic “Effective Use of the Content and Language Integrated Approach (CLIL)” for teachers of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools of PhM and ChB in Shymkent on November 4-8, 2024, and the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of PhM in Semey on November 13-15, 2024.

The seminars included the features and strategies for the effective use of the CLIL approach. They also discussed modern digital tools and interactive tasks aimed at developing students’ listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. The participants learned how to develop CLIL tasks and planned collaboratively their lessons. Teachers were given methodological recommendations and feedback.

The participants of the seminars exchanged experiences and best practices in teaching their subjects. The seminars were concluded with an exchange of impressions and a discussion of the results. The teachers emphasized the high practical value of the knowledge they had received and expressed their willingness to implement new methods in educational activities.
