About Us

Center for Educational Programmes was founded on the 1st of February, 2012 and consists of the following departments: Department of Natural and Mathematical sciences, Department of Linguistics, Department of Humanities and Complex Aesthetic Department, Financial-Economic Department, Organizational-Administrative Department. The Director of the Center for Educational Programmes is Abdildina Zh.N. The Center for Educational Programmes is the provider of Integrated Educational and subject programmes considering the best national and international educational standards, providing the scientific and methodological support, monitoring, and implementation into the practice of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools with the future sharing experience to the state schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 


 

 

Zhanar Abdildina

Director of NIS Center for Educational Programs

Zhanar Abdildina graduated from Kirov Kazakh State University as a Chemistry Teacher in 1987.  She worked as a Chemistry Teacher at Gymnasium School #4, Ekibastuz, Physics Teacher at Komarov Secondary School, Shantobe, and the Head of Stepnogorsk Education Department.

2009 – 2012, Director of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics, Kokshetau.

Director of NIS Center for Educational Programs since February 2012.

In 2003, Zhanar Abdildina became a member of Stepnogorsk Maslikhat.  

Awarded with two grants by the Soros International Fund in the period 2003 to 2006.

December 2011, she took part in the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a member of the Akmola Region Official Delegation in Astana.

Zhanar Abdildina has taken part in republican and international workshops and trainings. She has received the University of Pennsylvania Advanced training course in school management, and a variety of training courses such as: Modern requirements to school education in natural sciences, Integrated lesson methodology, IB approaches and practices in chemistry teaching, Introduction to competency-based pedagogy, Developing children creativity in natural sciences, New methods in foreign language teaching, Developing training delivery skills, and High-quality management. She holds a European trainer school certificate. Zhanar Abdildina has taken part in the Current issues in developing teacher professional competency in Kazakhstani innovative schools workshop; and the NIS management group development program workshop, with the participation of CIE experts. Zhanar Abdildina has taken part in the 10th International research and practice conference Role of non-state education in economy development, held by the Republican association of private educational organizations; and the International research and practice conference Innovations in education: researches and solutions, held by Altynsarin Academy of Education.    

Zhanar Abdildina has received an Honored Worker of Education award pin; a Duty and Honor award pin for the fruitful contribution to the Afghanistan Veteran Movement in Stepnogorsk; an Akim of Kokshetau honorary certificate; and, letters of gratitude from the Akmola Education Department and Akmola Institute for Further Training in Education.

Zhanar Abdildina speaks the Kazakh, Russian, and English languages. 

 


 

Askhat Ashimov

Deputy Director of NIS Center for Educational Programs.

Education:

1) Graduate degree, English and German Languages Teacher, Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University;

2) Bachelor of Law, Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University.

Under the Bolashak program, Askhat Askhat received a Master’s degree in Demography from Charles University in Prague (Prague, the Czech Republic).

    NIS-system worker since 1 November 2012, he has been working at Center for Educational Programs since 1 July 2016.

    Askhat Ashimov started his working career in 2007 as a Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University.

Zhanabai Abuov

Head of Linguistic Department, NIS Center for Educational Programs.

         Education: Graduate degree, Teacher of Kazakh Language and Literature, Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

    Zhanabai Abuov has been working at Center for Educational Programs since September 3, 2015.

         He started his working career in 2004 as a teacher of Kazakh language and literature in the Turkestan Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum, Kentau. During the period 2007 to 2008, Deputy Director for Educational Work, the Turkestan Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum. From 2008 to 2011, Deputy Director for Studies, the Turkestan Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum. From 2011 to 2012, Deputy Director at the Astana-Dostyk Educational Center. From April 2012 to June 2014, Senior Manager, Linguistic Department, NIS Center for Educational Programs. During the period June 2014 to January 2015, Senior Manager, Department for Educational Policy and Programs, NIS AEO. From January to August 2015, he was Deputy Director, Department of Preschool and Secondary Education, Information Technology, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Galiya Alzhanova

Gulnara Zhadrina

Head of Editorial Department, NIS Center for Educational Programs.

NIS-system worker since 2012, Gulnara Zhadrina has been working at Center for Educational Programs (hereinafter the Center) since 1 July 2016.

Gulnara started her working career in 1984 as a Chemistry and Biology Teacher at Ungurtas Village Comprehensive School, Almata Region. 1993 to 1996, she was a Junior Research Associate at the Chemistry and Biology Teaching Laboratory, Altynsarin Kazakh Institute for Education Issues. In the period 1996 to 1999, Gulnara received a postgraduate training from Altynsarin Kazakh Institute for Education Issues. 1999 to 2001, Research Associate, Institute of Professional Education, Altynsarin Academy of Education. 2001 to 2005, Senior Research Associate, School for Textbook Authors Science and Methodology Center, Mektep Publishing House Ltd.  She headed the Science and Methodology Department of the Taymas Publishing House for 6 years. From 2014 to 2016, Head of Content Development Department, Educational Resource Centre Private Entity.

The Integrated Curriculum textbooks, grades 1 and 2, were developed and published under Gulnara’s supervision. She authored the Grade 1 Menin Ortam and the Grade 2 Korshgan Orta, language immersion Learner Book and Learner Workbook.

Dinara Shakeyeva

Head of Translation Department, NIS Center for Educational Programs.

Graduated from Pavlodar State Pedagogical University, got a Bachelor degree in Foreign Languages (English, German).

Under the Bolashak programme did a Master degree in Translation Studies at Durham University, Great Britain.  

She started her working career in 2006 as an English teacher in Educational centre for studying abroad in Astana. In 2014, she was offered a job as a manager in Translation and Editorial Department, Educational Resource Centre Private Entity. She has been working at Centre for Educational Programmes since 1 July 2016. 

She did an English course in Hastings, Great Britain (2007), certificate of Advanced English, in Saint Julian’s, Malta, 2011 (EC English). She attended course of simultaneous interpreting held by Andrey Falaleyev, a member of AIIC (2018).

Samat Kalmenov has been working at NIS Center for Educational Programs since March 28, 2016.

He started his working career in 2001 as an English language Instructor, Department of English Linguistics, Faculty of Philology, South Kazakhstan State Auezov University. From 2004 to 2005, he was a Project Coordinator at Bereke, USAID-funded Project.  Kalamkas Baitenova 

 Head of Preschool and Primary Education Department, NIS Center for Educational Programs.

Education:   

1) a primary school teacher, in 1995 she received a degree of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Akhmet Yassawi in Shymkent.

2) in 2018 she received a master’s degree of the Omsk State Pedagogical University, in the field of Pedagogical Innovation theory.

Kalamkas Baitenova has been working in the Centre for Educational Programmes of the “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” AEO since 24 December, 2012, in a position of the head of Preschool and Primary Education Department since 1 March, 2019.

 She began her career in 1995 as a primary school teacher in secondary school No.21 in Aktobe.

2004-2005 – primary school teacher, gymnasium No.51, Aktobe

2005-2007 - Vice-Principal for academic work in primary school of gymnasium No.51, Aktobe

 Merits and awards

In 2010 she was awarded the certificate “Uzdіk mugalim” (“Best teacher”) of Akim of the Aktobe region.

In 2012 – the winner of the Grand Prix of competition “The Best Primary School Teacher 2012” in Aktobe and the first prize of the regional competition “Model of the Primary School Teacher”.

Due to her valuable contribution to the education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in 2016 she was honoured with the “Ybrai Altynsarin” award pin.
